In this blog we are focusing on depression. With 1 in 6 people being diagnosed with depression each year in the UK alone.

Below are the most common signs and symptoms of depression . You may only have some but any one of these signs can mean you have some form of depression .


  • Feeling sad or irritable

  • feeling less able to do things

  • Becoming tired easily and losing concentration

  • Sleeping and eating more/less

  • Thoughts of self harm or suicide

FACT - Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide.


Self-help methods enable many people to overcome or manage some of the above symptoms. Something as easy as breathing exercises, walking or adjusting your diet and reducing your daily alcohol intake can make all the difference to your day to day mental health and overall well-being.
